Full Professor at the Department of Medical Physiology and Biophysics of Seville University and the Institute of Biomedical Research of Seville-IBiS.

His research interests are the antiparkinsonian neuroprotective cell-therapy with carotid body and the brain effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection.
