Alba Rodriguez-Garcia’s research focuses on developing gene and cell-based therapies for cancer. During her early career at the Catalan Institute of Oncology she developed new oncolytic adenoviruses. She then moved to the University of Pennsylvania to develop CAR-T cell therapies, focusing on the role of the solid tumor microenvironment. She is currently a senior postdoc at IDIBAPS, where she continues her research focused on improving the efficacy of CAR-T cells in the context of solid tumors.
