Pilar Puig Serra

Pilar Puig Serra obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology in 2017 (Universitat Politècnica de València). Currently, she is a PhD student at the Molecular Cytogenetics and Genome Editing Unit of the CNIO (Spanish National Cancer Research Centre). Her research interests are related to the use of the diverse applications of the CRISPR systems in the cancer field. Specifically, her thesis project is focused on the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic tools using CRISPR/Cas13 to target fusion oncogenes.
