Aida Platero-Luengo

Aida Platero-Luengo is a Junior Principal Investigator at Instituto de Biomedicina de Sevilla, working on cell reprogramming to promote regeneration in the central nervous system. She performed her PhD at University of Seville, studying the carotid body neurogenic niche, with José López-Barneo and Ricardo Pardal. She did two postdoctoral stays, first at Salk Institute, in the Izpisua-Belmonte laboratory and a second at King's College London with Benedikt Berninger, where she specialized in different techniques around cell reprogramming.
