Francisco Javier Molina-Estevez

Francisco J Molina-Estevez, PhD. Is committed to developing better and safer tools and models for the gene therapy treatment of inherited rare diseases and neurodegenerative disorders. He was introduced to gene therapy during his PhD at UAM (Madrid, Spain). He mastered gene editing and lentiviral design during his postdoctoral training at Boston University and Harvard School of Medicine (Boston, USA). Recently, Francisco joined the Gene and Cell Therapy Unit at GENyO (Granada, Spain) to research therapeutic gene editing for Pompe Disease.
