Ander Izeta obtained his PhD in Biology (2000) from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Currently President Elect of the SETGyC, he leads the Tissue Engineering Group at Biodonostia Health Research Institute (2010). From 2021, he directs the Advanced Therapies Unit at OSI Donostialdea - Donostia University Hospital (Donostia-San Sebastian), a reference unit in CAR-T cell therapies for the Basque region. His research interests focus on adult stem cell biology, tissue regeneration, and 3D bioprinting.
