Overview
Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy represents a major breakthrough in cancer care since their approval by the Food and Drug Administration in 2017 for the treatment of pediatric and young adult patients with relapsed or refractory acute lymphocytic leukemia. Several CAR T cell therapies have been developed afterwards, demonstrating unprecedented efficacy in patients with B-cell malignancies and multiple myeloma.
On this training day, participants were able to acquire 360º vision between research, development and clinical application to the patient.
